Two for Halloween

I didn't have time to color these, but I didn't want to let Halloween pass without drawing something for the occasion. So here you go!

Half Done

Thought having his hair half braided would be an interesting visual. There are other asymmetrical aspects to him as well. Other than that, there's no story behind this one.

Inspired by songs....

The first one came to me after listening to Nick Cave's "Mercy Seat", a song about being on death row, proclaiming his innocence up to the execution by electric chair,  but in the end saying "I'm afraid I told a lie".

The second one is extremely simple but it came to me when reading an article about Paul Simon which mentioned that his song "Sounds of Silence" was inspired by his crooning to himself in the bathroom with the lights out.

Something a little different....

Trying something new. Did this in ink, shaded with pencil, colored in Photoshop then merged layers together and blended, then repainted over it...don't know if it is worth it or not, but here you have it.
