New Art

And that didn't take long! New Art update.
Just added these pieces.

Two portraits (these were commissioned as Christmas gifts last year). Digitally painted these in Photoshop CS.

New Portrait up

The digital painting thing is a fun experience (I really only started in earnest this year). The latest one is "Amir", the son of a friend of my wife's. He is the cutest kid you'll ever meet. Hope I captured that!

Superman's head.

Brian Cronin is running a little challenge over at CBR. The challenge is to re-ink a panel by Jack Kirby, featuring Superman. Here's what I came up with, and of course, I had to color it too.

New Art: Geronimo!

Just posted my latest piece: the Real Native American hero, Geronimo.

I wanted to capture his nobility and dignity, yet with a modern sensibility to the color scheme and style. I have no idea if I've achieved this, but I'm fairly happy with the way it turned out.

Added to the "Miscellaneous" gallery on my site.

Old acquaintences= new art

I used to collaborate with Mr. David Bovey (not to be confused with David Bowie) on a regular basis. We lost touch quite a while ago until just recently when we reconnected through DeviantArt. Dave posted a great Dr. Strange piece, and I had to color it.

I colored this in Corel Painter IX, then took it into Photoshop CS to add the "bling". Hi res view can be seen here.

What do you think?
